Position: Head of Clinical AffairsSchedule: Full-timeRequirements:
· 10+ years of relevant clinical trial experience; experience in a global team environment required
· 5+ years management experience working with project management teams
· Demonstrated success in leading 50-150 person department through high growth, preferably a transition from a small to mid-size CRO. Experience building infrastructure, policy, SOPs and other processes
· Experience in forming and managing global alliances. Experiences with global acquisitions and managing integration
· Experience managing a remote employee workforce
· Experience with drug development strategies to serve as strategic consultant to clients
· Advanced customer service skills and experience contributing to business development activities – client satisfaction, proposal preparation, bid defenses, etc
· Ability to understand, embrace and improve new technologies
· Problem solver that proactively identifies and resolves issues using creative approaches
· Able to envision, design and implement solutions that integrate business needs with flexibility
· Strong background in project management and monitoring.
· Able to work with a variety of internal/external customers at every level
· Knowledge of Data Management and Biostatistical principles are a plus.

We are looking for an effective leader with 10+ years leading global clinical research teams, with the ability to effectively provide strong management across Monitoring and Project Management. You must be a leader among leaders, with an inspiring yet resolved approach.
Responsibilities Include:
· Work with the Executive Committee to provide strategic corporate and departmental planning needed to facilitate global expansion and the building of robust Project Management and Clinical Affairs infrastructure to support rapid growth and a geographically diverse work force.
· Develop business opportunities by providing leads, nurturing current and prospective clients, attending bid defenses and undertaking marketing activities such as industry presentations, article authorship, etc. Share opinions and expertise on marketing and business development strategies, proposal content and approach, presentation content, etc.
· Serve as strategic consultant to clients – advise on drug development programs, protocol design, regulatory strategy, etc.
· Share knowledge and clinical research project management expertise with growing project management team
· Ensure that the operational aspects of the department including budget, resources, employee development, quality deliverables and vendors are being met and that suitable performance standards are in place. Develop strategy for scaling operational aspects for aggressive growth and global expansion.
