Before joining Health Decisions in 1999 as a biometrician, Mr. Box was a statistician at the Duke University Medical Center, where he performed analyses and generated reports for multicenter clinical trials and also improved efficiency by integrating software packages. He was co-author of several medical journal articles. Mr. Box served successively as Manager, Data Management, Research Statistician, and Senior Data Specialist at Health Decisions from 2000 to 2005. He became Manager of Software Development in 2005 and Director, Information Systems in 2006. Mr. Box received an MS in Statistics from Duke University in 1997 and an MS in Systems Management from Florida International University in 1994. He has made industry presentations on clinical trial technology and adaptive research, including "Lessons Learned from the Field: Design Planning and Implementation of over 300 Adaptive Trials," at PharmEd's Adaptive Trial Designs Conference in September 2007. |
