He and Health Decisions have been recognized as leaders in improving the efficiency of clinical development. Hailed as a "pragmatic visionary", he was selected as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the year (Health Sciences). Under his leadership, Health Decisions was awarded the CIO Enterprise Value Award for "an approach that promises to change the way an entire industry works", as well as the growing with Technology Award, and three times inclusion in the Inc. 500 and Technology Fast 500. He serves on the Leadership Council of the Harvard School of Public Health and as co-principal investigator of the Clinical and Statistical Coordinating Center for Contraceptive Research, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health & Human Development. He is a consultant to the World Health Organization's Global Program on AIDS and a member of the editorial boards of Current Drug Discovery and Contraceptive Technology Update. Dr. Rosenberg also serves as Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the UNC School of Public Health. Prior to founding Health Decisions, Dr. Rosenberg served as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the American Social Health Organization; Director of the Reproductive Epidemiology Division of Family Health International; and Chief, Reproductive Health Activity, Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Dr. Rosenberg completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of California and received a Masters Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (Internal Medicine), the American College of Epidemiology, and the American College of Preventive Medicine. He holds three patents, with more on the way. |
