Our systems are at the core of the services we provide to sponsors worldwide. And Rick Farris is the man responsible for their development, design, operation and improvement. He ensures the efficiency of our operations and the most effective use of resources to support our customers and employees. Rick also oversees the development of both technological and human processes that keep our quality high and our delivery dependable.

The focus of clinical research in general and Health Decisions in particular is efficient project management. Lucky for us, that's Rick's passion. He has almost two decades of experience managing technical projects to develop infrastructure and systems for clinical research and software systems. Those projects have ranged from enterprise application integration, electronic medical records and medical accounting systems to e-business, finance and billing.

Rick's mission at Health Decisions is implementing electronic systems and deploying personnel to manage complex international programs more efficiently. Providing immediate information on a global scale to coordinate all the essential, interlocking processes in clinical research takes advanced infrastructure. And to meet our efficiency standards, that takes Rick.

Rick joined Health Decisions in 2001 as Chief Technical Officer. He received a BA in Computer Science from East Carolina University in 1985. Through continuing education courses at North Carolina State University-advanced project management, database management and software development for health care-Rick has continued to develop his expertise.
