Bottleneck #3: Monitoring
Our monitors are far from typical. We’re trained ambassadors of efficiency, and our number-one goal is to stake out every opportunity to make your study run as smoothly as possible. Our HD360° platform lets our monitors — or your monitors — stay in constant control of your sites’ performance and the overall progress of your trial, which means better quality data, faster execution, and a relentless focus on your study goals.
And when you throw flexible, need-based monitoring visits into the equation (courtesy of Agile processes and the unique automation and tracking capabilities of HD360°), you’ve got a super-efficient, reliably managed trial without unnecessary travel and wasted time.
Featured Case Study: Phase II, Renal
Challenge: In a rescue study requiring an additional 19 sites (monitoring 25 total, 120 subjects), our sponsor requested that we visit sites once every four weeks, for a total of 20 monitoring visits per site. Without taking advantage of our Agile platform, which can pinpoint exactly when each site acquires enough data to warrant a visit, the sponsor was in danger of wasting thousands of extra hours and millions of extra dollars on unnecessary visits.
Solution: Backed by HD360º and our Agile Clinical Development platform, we proved to our sponsor that there’s a better way to monitor. Keeping real-time tabs on each site and the queries they amass, we completed the entire study with only seven IMVs to each site.
Results: Pleasantly surprised, our sponsor recouped a great deal of the monitors’ travel expenses and reduced monitoring visits by 65%. By applying Agile Clinical Development to this and other bottlenecks throughout the study, we worked with the sponsor to re-allocate time and resources to better serve the trial’s overall efficiency.
