Quick, Flexible Randomization with Web-RAND™

Health Decisions' web-based randomization program Web-RAND™ simplifies the process that randomly allocates patients to one of the treatment groups in a study. Web-RAND™ is flexible enough to include as many predefined stratification criteria as required, such as previous treatment and demographics. The program can include as many treatment groups as desired, such as placebo control, "gold-standard" arm, and different dose regimens.

Fast and Efficient

Web-RAND™ has a simple, intuitive interface that allows appropriate personnel to retrieve a new subject's treatment allocation in just a few moments. Once the relevant information is entered into the program and the treatment group is allocated, the program can automatically email all appropriate parties to confirm the randomization details.

Secure and Accessible

Web-RAND's™ security ensures that only personnel holding responsibility for randomization can gain access using a unique user name and password. This both identifies the individual randomizing a new subject and prevents any unauthorized randomization.

The program is easy to access, has a fully integrated help desk, and eliminates long conversations with study coordinators, misplaced randomization documents and long-distance calls to IVRS systems. Because Web-RAND™ is a web application, site personnel, project managers and site managers all have reliable access regardless of physical location or time zone.
