Volunteerism Thriving at Health Decisions

“Volunteerism was already a thriving activity at Health Decisions,” said Dr. Phillips. “We are just taking it up a notch. We learned about Activate Good and the Corporate Volunteer Council through our own Clinical Project Manager, Charles Chrisawn, chairman of Activate Good, and about SEEDs through our Director of Finance, Emily Friedman, who volunteers as Treasurer there.”

SEEDS is an urban sanctuary garden in downtown Durham, North Carolina, focused on promoting principles and practice of sustainable agriculture, organic gardening, food security and environmental stewardship.
